Mohamed Hassanein Heikal (nacido 23 de septiembre 1923) es un periodista egipcio. Durante 17 años (1957-1974) Fue editor en jefe del periódico de El Cairo Al-Ahram, y ha sido uno de los mas respetados comentaristas de asuntos árabes durante más de 50 años. Heikal ha sido miembro del Comité Central de la Unión Socialista Árabe.
